Product Description

ERVESA STS® (E492 Sorbitan Tri Stearate) is a highly lipophilic emulsifier composed of partial esters of sorbitol and its anhydrides with vegetable-based stearic acid. It may contain minor amounts of free fatty acids, sorbitol, and sorbitan esters. Due to its strong affinity for fats, it is widely used in combination with polysorbates to form stable emulsifier systems and to control fat crystallization behavior in various food applications.
