Product Description
ERVESA CITREM® (E472c Citric Acid Esters of Mono and Diglycerides) is a functional emulsifier produced from the esterification of citric acid with mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids derived from vegetable oils. The product may contain minor amounts of free glycerol, free fatty acids, free citric acid, and free glycerides. CITREM is widely used in fat- and oil-based systems as well as flour-based applications due to its strong emulsifying, stabilizing, and anti-splash properties.
Appearance
Cream-white liquid or powder with a slight acidic odor.
Solubility
Dispersible and decomposable in water. Also dispersible in liquid and solid oils.
